The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has inaugurated IEEE Student Chapters for the CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS SOCIETY and COMMUNICATION SOCIETY on 25th August, 2018. In the hierarchy of IEEE, the two Societies are top among the 40 technical societies organized under the IEEE’s Technical Activities Board. The IEEE Societies promote the advancement of science, technology, applications in communications, related disciplines, theory, analysis, design and practical implementation of circuits, the application of circuit theoretic techniques to systems and to signal processing. The main objective of forming societies is to spread the knowledge of one person to the masses of the people who are ready to seek it. IEEE societies foster presentation and exchange of information among its members and the technical community throughout the world. The IEEE Societies maintain a high standard of professionalism and technical competency. IEEE at department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Vardhaman College of Engineering was imitated with 61 student members and 10 faculty members at present. Every year the students are motivated to present and participate in National level and International Conference, Workshops and Seminars.
